  The name Imbertson came from Ben's great-grandfather Ingebrigt. Ben's grandfather took his father's name, Ingebrigt but was spelled "Imbert" by the U.S. Custom Agent. It turns out that the Ben's family and Ben's grandfather's brother, John, were the only ones ever to spell their name "Imbertson".
