Notes - When Martin died at the age of 40, Sunnøva remarried Thomas Pederson. She was a wonderful storyteller, and would gather her grandchildren together after holiday dinners to tell them about her early life in Norway and in the U.S.A.
She is burried in Hibbing, Minnesota between her two husbands. Two of her children, John B. and Lillian, are buried in the same plot, and her son George is burried in the same cementary. Norman is buried in California .
